I’d just like to remind you to check out one or more of the thousands of “This I Believe” samples on npr.org as you begin writing your essays this weekend. I expect solid drafts on Monday. Remember that you should be able to complete a style analysis of your own essay, which is to say you must use all of the rhetorical techniques we’ve been discussing in class. Look at the passages you have in your binders–Shaw, Douglass, Paret, etc.–and use them as models.
