			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;d just like to remind you to check out one or more of the thousands of &#8220;This I Believe&#8221; samples on npr.org as you begin writing your essays this weekend.  I expect solid drafts on Monday.  Remember that you should be able to complete a style analysis of your own essay, which is to say you must use all of the rhetorical techniques we&#8217;ve been discussing in class.  Look at the passages you have in your binders&#8211;Shaw, Douglass, Paret, etc.&#8211;and use them as models.</p>
